Mr. Nicholas Okoe Sai is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, with an extensive working experience in the financial services sector, spanning over three and a half decades. His areas of specialization include internal auditing, risk management, financial accounting, and compliance and information security. Mr. Sai spent most of his professional career working at the Bank of Ghana where he held a number of key positions including Head of Internal Audit, Head of Banking Supervision and lastly, Advisor to the Governor of the Bank. In order to enhance his professional proficiency, Mr. Sai attended over twenty (20) foreign courses/seminars mostly in the fields of internal auditing; enterprise risk management; banking supervision; anti-money laundering (AML)/Combating the financing of terrorism(CFT): information security. He also had the privilege to pay working visits to some world-class financial institutions such as the Federal Reserve Bank (New York & Atlanta Offices); the Bank of England, and the European Central Bank (Frankfurt & Hamburg Offices) to understudy such institutions’ risk based internal auditing and enterprise risk management functions. Additionally, Mr Sai holds an EMBA from the University of Ghana Business School. He is currently the Lead Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Noswin Consult, a consulting firm offering services in risk management, internal auditing, and compliance and information security. Mr. Nicholas Okoe Sai joined the Board of LCB in June 2014.
